We hold 3 craft shows annually at The John Knox Pavilion, 520 NW Murray Road, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Raspberry Meadows (March), Oktoberfest (October) and Craft Patch (December).
Dona Fowler is the creator of the Craft Patch craft show in 1973. It began in a small pool house in Village Fair. As it grew, so did its home until it eventually became large enough to fill the Pavilion at John Knox.
In the 1990′s Dona turned the craft show over to her sister, Debbie Deane. She continued to run the show and did a tremendous job of working with the vendors and shoppers alike. As she continued successfully hosting Craft Patch, she also added Raspberry Meadows and Oktoberfest to her list and has done a great job of filling the Pavilion with both vendors and shoppers for each of these shows.
As Debbie has started to enjoy a new position in her life, she turned the shows back over to Dona and myself, Trisha Whitehead (Dona’s daughter, Debbie’s niece). 2012 will be the first year we will host all 3 shows. We look forward to working with the current vendors as well as adding some new ones that we feel will compliment the shows and current vendors.
We look forward to working with all of you!!
